You never want to see faults in your hero. It’s just like, a rule. You always want to think this person you look up to is perfect. You can’t think that the person you want more than anything to be like has all these flaws, is human. Just seeing your idol pick their teeth or treat friends rudely is enough to break your heart. But, to an extent, it’s absolutely comforting. Sometimes it’s nice to know they’re just like you. Although that’s exactly why you look up to them, isn’t it? Because they’re NOT like you, they’re supposed to be much better, right? Well, either way, there’s no avoiding being let down if you ever get the chance.
