Is high school supposed to be like the movies you always see? Or the television shows and the books? The group of friends hanging out every week? The friends that have gotten along since grade school? The friends so comfortable with each others parents they feel like they have three seperate homes? Does everyone have different adventures every week? Do other people really want to be surrounded by the same people the rest of their life? Can they watch That 70s Show or Grease and say “that’s my life”? Can they see themselves in the characters?
I guess what I want to know is, am I doing this right? It may be a little late but I want to know if I’ve expirienced high school the way it’s supposed to be.
Between safety and adventure I choose adventure, right? I want to live by it but what do I concider safety and how do I define adventure? I know I’m never going to write an autobiography so mixing memories of reality and everything else doesn’t really matter does it?
