I hope there is a kind of life on this other planet, but what I’ve always thought, since I was a small child and aliens were really real to me, is that if there are aliens, if they are so different, why do they have to develop like we did? I get that scientist have to apply what they know, like how humans and life on Earth survives, but why can’t aliens breath carbon dioxide? Or maybe they don’t need liquid water, or water at all. I completely understand that they have to set guidelines for life and base it off what they know, that is how scientist have worked since the beginning of time, but maybe what we need is less logic and more imagination. Maybe we need a little bit of math and a lot more creativity behind NASA and the microscopes. But who knows, I’m not a scientist, obviously.
